Surprised how light the criticism has been of Ayew.

Is it just me or do others think this bloke is a fucking irritating?

Bellows orders, argues with Billic yet is lazy and offers nothing much of the time.

Withe the draw and three wins, I cant complain too much about this loss although we could easily have got a draw and with a bit of luck won the game.

I think Bilic is in get a point or points mode he is cautious and the players are attacking in spurts and always starting slowly the confidence will come I am sure.

watched the first half live and had to watch the second on delay. on the evidence of the first, I worried that we would fade and concede at least another in the second. Pleased to see the fight we showed in the second. Strength in the second half has been lacking this season, so it was a positive sign.

The opening 30 minutes looked too much like most of the first half of the season with the midfield being dominated and no release valve for the defence. We were particularly exposed down the right flank. Whether that's down to Payet or Ogbonna I can't tell although it did get better as the game went on. Ayew was the only one finding himself in space, and had no ideas when receiving the ball. Nowhere near 20+ million. It almost felt as though Leceister were challenging us to play through him. outside of that we seem to get to midfield, turn around and feed back to randolph who would lob it back to midfield in hopes of a flick-on.

After Noble came off, the midfield became much more fluid, and while Feghouli didn't cover himself in glory, you could at least see what he was trying to do. there's some vision there although he may be a luxury we cannot afford with payet and lanzini in the midlfield (ditto for Ayew). I think we have the players there to be a consistent mid-table team, but we seem to be still trying to figure our our best XI.

I took little issue with the officiating today. both sides could've had players sent off, but gave cautions instead. consistently let play go and didn't lose control. my two cents anyway.

Also I have no idea why payet isn't taking every free kick in the offensive 3rd. it's the biggest tool in his locker. he might be struggling of late, but he's always the most likely to score from a direct kick, by some margin.

Think we'll have to open up at an electric pace to get at United. None of this lumbering around for 20-30 mins before we wake up. Maybe if Noble is our injured we get Obinang & Lanzini in (Ayew out) and see if we can get Antonio & Carroll on the end of some cutting movement.

Unlucky today.
Paid the price for such a sluggish start.

But we still have big problems in many areas.

But the biggest cunts today were the Leicester support.

What a whinging..embarrassing fucking bunch of muppets.

Closely followed by most of their players.

Amartey should have had his marching orders... Huth and Rudolphs sprog being their usual cunty selves.

Feel confident of a win on Monday against the Manc twats

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread

Was at the game today and to be fair we were very unlucky to come out with nothing

First half all over the place and when we did go forward as soon Noble got the ball the whole attack slowed down and then ball went backwards, I am not a Noble hater but just does not work in our midfield attacks, when Lanzini came on second half we had a great 25 minute spell of get the ball forward quickly but we show just how short we are of fire power in last 3rd ( Ayew is dogshit )

Carroll played really well and won header after header but no one read his flick ons and as much as you may hate Defoe he would of got into the right positions to feed off Carroll, much better performance in my eyes just drop Noble for Obiang, get decent right back and a decent forward and we will kick on

Payet for me overweight and not fit and last 10 minutes of game all our side were blowing out of there arses, up the training Mr Billic because we should of got something today

Funnily enough, from about the 35th minute on, that was probably our only decent performance this season.

Very pleased to see Cresswell take that free kick. No matter how well Payet is playing (and he's not) we need to vary our attacks because right now we're too predictable.

Cresswell did take a direct free kick today actually nearly sneaked in
Lanzini took a couple of corners although I think that's because Payet couldn't be arsed to trek across the pitch

Manager accused of having favorites shock.
I bet that Noble's name is first on the team sheet every week.
Personally I'd rather see Nordveit start in his natural position and build the midfield accordingly.

we need more moody, sulky foreign "goalscorers" now!

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Why are we persisting in Payet taking all the corners and free kicks when it's obvious he's only 50% of the player from last season.
Step up Creswell and tell him to do one.

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
A draw would have been a fair result had we taken one of the chances created. As good a performance as it was in some respects, we simply did not look like scoring today. That needs to be remedied and fast.

Well City lost at Pool by same score...

Got done by an early header...couldnt score despite pressure...

Sounds familiar...🤓🤓🤓

At least Pool didn't hack the city players...like Leicester...
